

She was born in Austin, Texas to Ray and Lupe Mendoza on November 19, 1971 but spent her last years living in Pflugerville, Texas.
Denise was a devoted Daughter, Sister, Cousin, Niece, Aunt, Granddaughter, Godmother, Sister-n-law and Friend. She gave her time, her heart, and unconditional love without ever expecting anything in return. She loved to listen and dance to Classic Country Music, Rock, R&B and Tejano Music. She had numerous hobbies like wordle, crossword puzzles, crocheting, jigsaw puzzles, reading books, playing board games with her nieces and nephews. She loved attending music concerts especially when her High School classmate Rick Trevino was playing nearby, playing bingo, going on gambling trips to WinStar and watching her Young and the Restless Soap Opera.
She graduated from Westwood High School in Austin, TX and also Graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Cum Laude from Concordia University here in Austin. She retired from the University of Texas Engineering Careers Center Recruiting Department as an Assistant Director. Denise always continued to support the University of Texas Longhorn Football Team, The Lady Longhorns Basketball Team. She was such a very loyal Fan.
She is survived by her Parents Ray & Lupe Mendoza, Sisters Lisa Mendoza-Lara (Jesse), Terri Lobato, Godparents Rudy & Mary Alice Guajardo and numerous nieces and nephews. Though Denise never had children of her own, it was her role as a Godmother, and Aunt that brought her the greatest joy and fulfillment in her life.
