Dennis grew up in Mathis, TX and was a US Army Veteran. He was a loving father and a dedicated friend to many. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janis; his parents, Alton Earl and Aline Lorene Hutchens; and his beloved brother, Lloyd.
He is survived by his children, Donald Hutchens, Keith and (wife) Krista Hutchens, Tammy and (husband) Mike Sims, Peggy and (husband) Troy Rhoads; and many beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was a dedicated member of the Crestview Baptist Church in Georgetown, TX. The family would ask that any memorial donations be made to them in Dennis’ honor.
A viewing will be held at 2:30 p.m. with the funeral service immediately following at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, February 6th, 2012 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. Burial with military honors will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
