Diego Rosales

He married Carmen Rosales on March 11, 1957 and together they built a life grounded in love, laughter, faith, and simple joys for over 51 years before her passing on October 27, 2008. During their marriage they were blessed with thirteen children and moved to Austin, Texas. As we bid farewell to Diego, we celebrate a life well-lived, a journey marked by unwavering faith, love, and dedication to family. If you ask his siblings what kind of person he was when he was younger, they would say hard-working, dedicated and active, and that's exactly the type of husband and father he became. Diego enjoyed many things in his life, among them were the Dallas Cowboys, a good laugh, and his devotion to God. He was a proud member of Hyde Park Presbyterian Church for over 30 years where his presence and voice were cherished in the congregation. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Cindy (Al) Thompson, Alex (Rachel) Rosales, Angie Lener (Jack Kuempel Jr.), Alma (Caleb) Lyra, Diego Jr. Rosales, Oscar (Mabel) Rosales, Ruben Rosales (Bertha Barron) , Margaret Requejo, Brenda Ramos, John Michael (Michelle) Rosales, Patricia Rosales, his 25 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, his sisters Esther Rosales and Rosie Olivares, brother Benjamin Rosales Jr., and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved very much.

He leaves us, but we know he is surrounded by the warmth of those he loved and have passed before him; his beloved wife, Carmen Rosales, his parents, Benjamin Rosales Sr. and Beatrice Hinojosa, his infant son Manuel, infant daughter Rita, and his sister Anna Gomez.

A visitation will be held at Cook Walden Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas (14501 N Interstate Hwy 35, Pflugerville, TX 78660) on Thursday, June 26, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a small memorial service starting at 6:00 PM.

Funeral service will be held at Cook Walden Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas on Friday, June 27, 2025 at 11:00AM and Diego will be laid to rest, next to his loving wife at 12:00 PM.
