Don was the patriarch of our entire family, which was a position he took very seriously. It was not just a title to him; it was an honor that he loved and always strived to be worthy of.
He was not only a husband, but the best husband. Don and Elaine's love has touched all of our hearts. Their love and dedication will live on for eternity.
He was not only a father, but the best father. His unconditional love for his daughters created a bond where we learned from example and were able to create those same bonds with our own children.
He was not only a grandpa and great grandpa, but the best grandpa and great grandpa. His love for his grandchildren had no boundaries and his greatest wish for each of them was to live happy lives surrounded by love and family.
He was not only a brother, but the best brother. He was a dedicated brother that wanted nothing more than his siblings to be draped in happiness, love, and good health.
He was not only an uncle, but the best uncle. He cherished and loved his one on one time he had with them where he could focus on each of them individually.
He was not only a friend, but the best friend. His loyalty, trustworthiness, and willingness to always be there when needed created friendships that lasted lifetimes and will forever be remembered.
Don is survived by his three daughters, Donna Ann Greenwood, Deanna Lynn Kessler, and Angela Dawn Trent, his three granddaughters, Stephanie Beth Birchfield, Brandi Lee Trent, and Amanda Dawn Jordan, his four great grandchildren, Carson Lee Richards, Jase Ethan Richards, Samantha Rylie Jordan, and Jaxon James Jordan.
