Donald Eugene Sander, 64, avid Texas Longhorn and Dallas Cowboys fan succumbed to cancer on September 2, 2023. He was born in El Paso, Texas on November 17, 1958 to Eugene Charles Sander and Mary Lou (Jones) Sander. Don worked for UT before going into auto-cad design at Texas Fixtures.
Don is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lou and sister, Lisa Ellis. He is survived by his father Eugene, niece Skylar, nephew Trace, and his cousin and caretaker Sheri Dyall. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, many cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on September 23, 2023 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville.
Please wear cowboys or longhorn attire to celebrate Don's life.
