Donna Michelle Nygren

Donna Michelle Nygren, age 37, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2012 in Austin. Donna attended the University of Texas at Austin and Capella University online. She was employed at New York Life Long-Term Care Insurance Division for nine years. Donna ran the Austin marathon, her first, in 2010, with her best friend Patty, and the half marathon in San Antonio later that same year.

Donna loved with all her heart, and was loved more than she knew. She treasured family and friends as one, along with her furry friends. She found the love of her life in Dave, to whom she referred to as “My Love”. Donna will forever be Dave’s “Princess”. Donna was a blessing to everyone that knew her or had even just met her. She is and always will be loved and missed.

Donna is survived by her husband, Dave, and their eight week old daughter, Alyssa; her mother, Joan Ross; father, Michael Smith and wife Noel; brother, Tommy Magill and his children; and grandparents, Dorothy Gibson, Johanna Smith, and William Jones and wife Emily. She is also survived by her parents-in-law, Bruce and Mai Nygren, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins, who were all loving members of her family.
