

Dorothy June Hill went to her heavenly home on the seventh of March, 2012 at the age of 83. She was born on March 15, 1928 in Hutto, Texas to parents, Willie Maxwell, Jr. and Mary Eliza Maxwell, who both preceded her in death. From her parent's union twelve children were born, of which 4 brothers and 6 sisters also preceded her in death. Dorothy is survived by one sister, Thelma Maxwell Burnett of Austin, Texas.
Dorothy attended school in Hutto, Texas. She was a devoted employee of the University of Texas and retired with Honors after 35 years of service as a Nurse Assistant. Dorothy confessed her faith in Christ Jesus in her earlier years and was a member of Greater Galilee Missionary Baptist Church until the day of her departure.
Dorothy is the mother of 10 children. Her precious memories are shared by: Margie Hill Burleson and her husband Lionel Burleson and their three children of Austin, Texas; Alberta Wheeler and her two children of Austin, Texas; Morris Hill and his wife Mamie Hill and their six children, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Lorenzo Hill and his wife Hermene and their three children of Austin, Texas; Kelly Hill and his wife Evelyn Hill and their six children of Elgin, Texas; Rebecca Thomas and her one child of Austin, Texas; Kenneth Hill and his wife Brenda Hill and their six children of Austin, Texas; Edward Hill and his wife Tonya Hill and their five children of Austin, Texas; Dennis Hill (deceased) and his wife Nancy Hill and their three children of San Jose, California and two children of Austin, Texas; Bobby Hill (deceased) and his wife Rosetta Hill and their five children of Austin, Texas; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Dorothy also shared precious memories with Shirlene Easley and her husband Earl Easley (deceased) and their two children (deceased) of Austin, Texas; Frances Esmon and her husband George Esmon and their three children of Austin, Texas; James Hill and his wife Patricia Hill and their eight children of Austin, Texas; and Charles Hill and his five children of Bastrop, Texas.
