Joan was my best friend for over 60 years. We had fun no matter where we were or what we were doing. We shared everything, even clothing. 2000 characters is not enough to share all the good times we had. We have a lot of great memories from our summer in Nebraska. I will forever miss our visits and phone calls.

My heart is heavy because I have lost a great friend. Joan was so funny, caring and giving. She loved her family. I always enjoyed listening to the stories of the grandkids. She was so proud of all of them. I know she is looking down on all of us and I know she is at peace. I will miss her and her calls. Take care, Joan. You will always be in our hearts,
