Doug graduated from McCallum High School in 1984. He was a project manager in the irrigation landscaping industry. Doug's main love was spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid UT Longhorns fan and loved Nascar.
Doug is survived by his wife, Susan; their children, Kara Angell, Jessica Barrios, Morgan Sandoval, Meagan Leftridge, and Kylee Leftridge; mother, Jean Leftridge; father, Burl Leftridge; grandmother, Dorothy Howard; brother, Mike Leftridge; sister, Linda Reese; and grandchildren, Brooklyn, Nolan, Christian, and soon to arrive Liam.
Services will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home and Cemetery in Pflugerville.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a college fund for Kylee Leftridge.
