

Ed was born in Waterbury, Connecticut on August 7, 1955 to Edward and Ruby Mastronunzio. He married Carla Wagner on May 31, 1988, and they lived almost exclusively in Austin, TX.
Ed was a true patriot who loved his country. He faithfully served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War, and was a life member of VFW Post 8787. Ed was an avid lover of motorcycles, having owned and operated a Harley Davidson store in North Austin, and was a charter member of the VFW Unit 5 Motorcycle Group.
Ed was a loving husband, father and a great friend. His caring demeanor and friendly smile were infectious to everyone who met him.
Ed was preceded in death by his brother Paul and is survived by his wife Carla Mastronunzio; his son Dominic Mastronunzio; father Edward Mastronunzio; mother Ruby Avery; brothers: Dean and Gary Mastronunzio; and sisters: Debbie Jackson and Regina Rooks. He is also survived by his lifetime best friend “brother” Hershell Peck and his wife Patty, and numerous nieces and nephews.
