Edward Michael Dunn

Eddie was born November 12, 1937 to James Thomas and Jessie Clifford Horton Dunn of Marshall, Texas where he grew up with his siblings. He graduated Marshall High School and then attended Panola Junior College in Carthage, Texas where he played baseball and was a member of the Rod and Gun Club. He then attended the University of Texas at Austin.

Eddie was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather who cherished time with his family. Spending time with family was always of utmost importance to him. He spent 38 years with Sherwin Williams starting as a sales clerk and advancing to regional district manager where he ventured to multiple stores in multiple states to help rejuvenate profits successfully.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Verona “Ronny” Dunn, his three sons, Edward Michael Dunn, Jr. and wife Paige, Scott Hardy Dunn and wife Tonya, Patrick Noel Dunn, and his two step children, Steve Campbell and wife Collen and Shelly Hayes and husband Mark, and four grandchildren, Blake Adams, Taylor Adams, Morgan Schultz, and Hunter Joseph Dunn.

He is preceded in death by his parents Tommy “Papa” and Clifford “Mama” Dunn, two brothers Tommy and Buddy Dun, sister Ann Pirtle, and stepson Scott Campbell.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 am on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at the Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home and Cemetery located at 14501 North Interstate Hwy 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660.
