Elizabeth Ann "Bunny" Blacklock

Elizabeth Ann “Bunny” Blacklock, loving wife, mother, grandmother passed away April 12, 2013 in Austin at the age of 86. She would have become a great-grandmother in September. She was born on July 13, 1926 in Pflugerville, Texas to William F. Rogas and Elizabeth Clint Rogas.

She loved being around people. She worked as a secretary at Houston Baptist University and was a proud member of Great Hills Baptist Church. In the last 6 months, Elizabeth enjoyed talking to her family and friends on the phone.

Leaving to cherish Elizabeth’s memory is her husband of over 70 years, John Blacklock; son, Douglas Blacklock and wife Darlene of Leander; daughter, Katherine Blacklock McDonald of Austin; grandsons, Jonathan David McDonald and Joseph Douglas McDonald and wife Christine Crook McDonald; one great-grandchild on the way; brothers, Clint Rogas and wife Betty, Duane Rogas and wife Billie and sister, Edna Maria Schuler. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 14, 2013 from 1:15 pm until 2:00 pm at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, with funeral services beginning at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks in Pflugerville.
