

Elizabeth was a 67-year-long member and past matron of Austin Chapter #304, Grand Chapter of Texas Order of the Eastern Star. She was a drill team Tornette and a graduate of Galveston Ball High School, and she co-founded Acme Building Maintenance with her late husband in 1955. Elizabeth loved cats and had many over the years. She was a generous supporter of numerous charitable causes. Elizabeth was a proud American and staunch conservative. She truly believed in the greatness this country.
Elizabeth was a wonderful and devoted wife and mother and generously supported her children's and grandchildren’s education. She lived a happy life with her partner, James David North.
Elizabeth is survived by two sons, Patrick Glynn Hudson and David Earl Hudson; Four grandchildren, Steven Edwin Hudson, Christopher William Hudson, Shannon Dyan Hudson and Tyler Glynn Hudson, and one great grandchild, Francis Antonio Hudson.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Glynn Hudson, and son, Dale Alan Hudson.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 2, 2023 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas. The service will immediately follow beginning at 2:00 p.m. in the Longhorn Room of the Funeral Home. Elizabeth will then eternally be laid to rest in Cook-Walden/Memorial Hill Cemetery located at the intersection of North Interstate 35 and Howard Lane.
