Elizabeth Nicole Parker

Elizabeth Nicole "Nikki” Parker passed away peacefully at Christopher House in Austin, Texas on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 with her parents by her side. She was born on October 16, 1977 at St. David's Hospital in Austin.

Nikki graduated from Georgetown High School in 1996. She attended the University of Texas at Austin and was an avid UT Longhorn fan. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Learning and Development with Honors in 2001 and a Master of Education Degree in 2002.

Nikki was a teacher and taught at Georgetown ISD for 15 years. She began her teaching career at Williams Elementary followed by Annie Purl and for many years at Carver Elementary.

She loved spending time with family at their many gatherings and on their weekend RV trips. She was passionate about working out whether it was Zumba, Piloxing, or walks and runs in the park with her many workout friends.

Nikki is preceded in death by her grandmother Joyce Ashabranner of Round Rock, Texas and grandparents Dorothy and Les Parker, Sr. of Austin, Texas. She is survived by her parents Leslie and Peggy Parker of Georgetown, Texas and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial Services will be held on Monday, July 10th, at 2:00 PM at Celebration Church in Georgetown, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation at alexslemonade.org.
