

Elnora professed her faith in Christ at an early age. She united with the Concord Missionary Baptist Church in Round Top, Texas where she served faithfully for many years. She served in Mission, as an usher and member of the choir. She later relocated to Austin, Texas and attended several churches before uniting with the Divine Fellowship Baptist Church, where she remained faithful until her health failed.
Elnora attended school in the Round Top School District. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years in Austin, Texas before retiring.
Elnora was united in marriage to Palmo Vincent, Sr. on January 29, 1941 in Round Top, Texas. To this union four children were born; Palmo Vincent, Jr., Elmo Vincent, Emma L. Vincent and Ella M. Vincent.
Elnora was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Knotts and Lizetta Goins Knotts; one brother, LeRoy Knotts; husband, Palmo Vincent, Sr.; and two daughters, Emma L. Vincent-Anderson and Ella M. Vincent.
Elnora Knotts Vincent leaves to cherish her memory sons, Palmo Vincent, Jr. and his wife Brenda of Houston, Texas and Elmo Vincent and his wife Martha of Austin, Texas; sister-in-law, Annie E. Taylor of Houston Texas; fourteen grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; and a host of great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Elnora’s family will greet guests at a visitation to be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 4, 2015 at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas. Services to celebrate her life and home going will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2015 in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home with committal services following at Cook-Walden Memorial Hill Cemetery.
