

Eloisa was a seamstress and loved to knit; she also enjoyed gardening, going to the casinos to gamble and just have a great time with her family. She enjoyed going places and spending time with her niece, Gloria. She loved the outdoors watching her birds and the squirrels during feeding times. She also loved dancing and listening to her Tejano music and watching her programs., and she made the best tamales and polvorones.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tomas and Carmen Gil; brothers, Eugene, Raymond, Tomas, Sylvester, Tony, Rudy; sister, Antonia "Toni" Guzman and grandson, Richard Calderon Bara. She was the youngest of 8 children born and raised in Austin.
She leaves behind daughters, Nina Castro Berry and husband, Gregory; Rita Gil Castro, Denise Castro, Salyna Gil Castro and partner, Pete Terrazas and son, Pete Gil Castro; grandchildren, Azalea Corazon Bara and Brian Berry.
The family would like to thank the staff of Dell Seton for all the attention given to her while in their care.
A visitation for Eloisa will be held Wednesday, October 30, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Ih-35, Pflugerville, TX 78660, followed by a rosary service at 6:00pm led by Reynaldo Gil and music by Pastor Cadena.
