Uncle Ephraim,

You are one of the smartest people we have met in our lives. We could talk about anything under the sun. Your wealth of knowledge about so many things and in so many areas was appreciated by us. Thanks for sharing. Your intelligence was surpassed only by your love for God and Auntie Jane. We will surely miss you.

We have been to visit the Lancero Family last year at the end of December 2019 to  join in Cousin Jane’s advance birthday surprise celebration and welcoming the New Year 2020 with most of the Estabillo Clan and friends . We had a good visit with Kuya Phraim at their house before we all went back to our own homes. It was full of energy and laughter like most of our family gatherings. We are going to miss you and your sunny disposition !

To Tita Jane and Family...our deepest condolences for the loss of Tito Ephraim. I vividly remember our meeting your family in your beautiful home at Redbank. It was memorable to us because it was also the time we received the good news of our daughter Bobeth’s passing the NCLEX in Texas.

I remember Manong Ephraim driving 5 hours with you, Manang Jane,to be at my brother's wedding.

I remember how he would help me with my car when I was a brand new driver.

He always treated me like his sister..........giving me advice when I needed it.

He was my "Manong". 
He will be missed.

Dear Jane and Family and the Lancero Loved Ones:
It is with sadness in our hearts to learn of the death of Ephraim. We have heartwarming memories of him and the Lancero/Roa wonderful folks primarily in Cagayan de Oro days, persons of deep faith in a loving God and so accepting and caring of others. Some of my fun days with Ephraim were when we played chess at the Lancero home; I think I lost to him more than I won, but it was enjoyable! May God sustain you all with your  pleasant memories of and with Ephraim and may the assurance that he is in that dwelling place in the new heaven and new earth (in Revelation 21) where  "...God himself will be with them; 4 God will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning nor crying nor pain any more, for the former things have passed away.” Upholding you all in our fervent prayers for you all, for strength and a sense of gratitude and celebration for a life of Ephraim well lived! Thanks be to God.
