Eric Christopher McDaniel

Eric Christopher McDaniel passed away on March 9, 2021 at the age of 51 in his hometown of Pflugerville, Texas from an unexpected stroke. Even though a stroke took him away from this world, his loving heart left a beacon of light for his family and all in the community.

Eric Christopher McDaniel was born to his mother, Barbara Ann Spratling-McDaniel who has preceded him in death, and his father, Evester McDaniel, Sr., of Manalapan, New Jersey. Eric attended Manalapan High School in Manalapan Township, New Jersey. Eric joined the United States Army in 1988 and served six years as a Computer Programmer. Eric moved to Austin Texas where he became a Frito Lay Route Sales Technician culminating as District Regional Manager. Eric then decided to change careers and became a Rural Carrier in Pflugerville, Texas where he remained until his death. Eric loved reading, learning, investing in the stock market, World Series of Poker, scrabble, music, sports, and watching movies with his sons. He was a proud Papa to three boys: Andre, Christopher, and Tyler. His cheerful attitude and bright smile will be missed by his family and the Pflugerville Post Office where he worked as a Rural Mail Carrier.

Eric leaves to mourn his three sons: Christopher Allen McDaniel of Austin, Texas, Tyler Christen McDaniel of Austin, Texas and Andre Lamont Amerson (Step Son of Amarillo, Texas); father, Evester McDaniel, Sr. of Manalapan, New Jersey; sisters, Avis A. McDaniels of Manalapan, New Jersey, Ursula A. McDaniel of Manalapan, New Jersey, Crystal S. McDaniel of Yonkers, New York; brother, Evester McDaniel, Jr. of Lakewood, New Jersey; sister-in-law, Vivian McDaniel; three nephews, Evester III, Joshua Anthony, and Mathew Gaines; and a niece, Jessica Lynn; along with a host of grand nieces and nephews, loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

What we once enjoyed and deeply loved we can never lose, for all that we love deeply becomes part of us forever.
