Alma, my little pea pod, my heart aches for you everyday.  I wish I could take the pain and heartache away from you so you could have some peace. Hard for me to find the words to say to comfort you and your family, know that you are forever in my prayers and that God will always be with you.  Tyler shows you signs everyday that he is watching over you, makes me smile thinking of all the things that you see from him.  You two have such a connection that most parents do not have with their children, your relationship has always amazed me. God has promised us a place in heaven, and that is the blessing we are left with...we will all be together again.  Keep reminding people to hug their family and tell them that they love them.  Tyler's death has affected a lot of people in so many different ways, you will never be able to comprehend how deep that goes. 

Hugs for your neck and prayers for your heart.  I love you dearly.

You are a constant part of my life, in every way. You are in so many thoughts and memories and a picture of you and I is my background on my phone. I really wish that you and I had been able to be closer as we got older, but hearing from your Dad that you knew what I have been up to means the world to me. I love you so much and I always will. My favorite memories of us are the ones where your Mom would take us to the grocery store and pretend that we were twins, and the summer that you came and stayed at my house for a week. Not a day has gone by since your passing that I have not taken a moment to think about you.  I do not want to write this letter expressing sadness, because at this time, I want to celebrate the fact that I had the chance to know you as my goofy kid cousin.  We shared a similar sense of humor, and when I think back, all I can think of is the goofy comments and jokes we would share with each other during the family holidays.  I will always remember the summers when I worked at Walgreens and you'd ride your bike to the store to buy candy with your friends.  We would always give each other a big crazy goofy hug and just act completely ridiculous to the point that people would stare in the store. lol.  I am forever grateful to have seen you for one last time this past Thanksgiving.  I cannot believe how much you had grown up.  Such a mature adult full of love and kindness.  I will never forget giving you that one last hug and saying, see ya later, man.  I promise to never forget you, Tyler.  I will always make a point to think of you so that you may continue to live forever in my heart.  I look forward to the day that we are reunited.  Until then, take care and tell our grandfather and Uncle Lee that I said hi. You are an awesome cousin!

We pray you feel Gods loving arms holding and comforting you during this most painful of times. We continue to grieve along with you in Tyler's passing every day.

Tyler's bright face has always brighten wherever he was. Never has their been a brighter smile and eyes which sparkle like Tyler's. At night when I look at the brightest star, I will think of Tyler's bright handsomely beautiful face. Tyler also looked so much like his Grandpa Garcia.

To be absent in the present
Is to be present with the Lord.  Tyler a eternal immortal soul who lives in Gods peaceful promise land filled with love and beauty, awaits our arrival when we are united together for eternity with our Lord and Savior. Tyler a Man of God, found and knows Gods love. Gods faithful love endures forever.

Anyone would be proud to call Tyler their son. God chose Alma, Michael and David, this honor of calling precious Tyler their son. I am blessed to call Tyler my nephew. I will cherish the time we spent together and the memories. 

Tyler will continue to live on through us. The influences Tyler left on our hearts shows his memory will never fade.

Tyler, we all have special memories.  Your generosity and dedication to what you believed always inspired me.  It was something special to behold.

When you came by to see your Mom, you would light up the room and your Mom too!  I saw a moment that you scared her too.  You were in Alabama and that Tornado was there, we all freaked out!

I have so many good memories of you as a youngster.  Watching you, Michael and Matthew rough housing always made me laugh.  I wish that I had a brother like you to have grown up with.

You will always be young in my mind, always laughing and always having a funny story to share.

The Lord must have a special purpose for you Tyler, you can tell me all about it when I next see you.  I'm sure that we'll be sharing football stories.  From your perch, high above us, take care of your Mom, your Dad, David and your Brothers.  

It's something that you've always been doing and something that I know that you love to do.

Thinking of you brings a tear to my eye, I'm sorry, I can't help it.  You always reminded me of my own Father.  And that is a good thing.

You were taken from us too soon and not a day goes by that I don't think of you.  I know that there is no separation from your loved ones even in the afterlife and that you took that love with you. I know that  you're watching us from Heaven with wide open eyes.

Tyler, I have never met another person with better character than you. I can honestly say that I am a much better man because of our friendship and I will forever be grateful for that. Our hearts are heavy because of how much you are missed, but I'd like for you to know that we all find comfort in the memories that we shared with you. My heart aches at the loss of my cousin, Tyler. I find comfort in knowing he is in such a beautiful place watching down on us with other family members. I can't help but smile and laugh at all the memories of us getting into trouble for being too loud or being too hyper together. My fondest memories of your family is how you both(Alma and Michael) showed unconditional love for your boys.  The visits to the Nurses office and without hesitation one of you were always there to get them. My heart aches for your family's loss. I am terribly saddened to hear about this. Tyler was a very kind soul, always generous and helpful towards his family in times of need. He was hard working and extremely determined to achieve his goals. I have so many favorite memories of Tyler. My favorite was listening to Katy Perry with him while driving back from Alabama at 4 am in the morning in his tricked out truck. I also remember when he went out his way and decorated the entire house for me before a Halloween party when I was having a bad day. He will be missed terribly. I will always remember him as the  kind-hearted Bama fan who could fix anything with his hands. My deepest sympathies. Words cannot adequately describe the loss.

Lorenza, there are times when it feels as if you are surrounded by darkness in an unforgiving world. I know how you and your family desire to shine through as guardians of light. But when all you see is darkness it's easy to forget it is the darkness that fears your heart.
