George was born on July 2, 1953 in Austin, Texas to the late Elvis Jemmie Lafosse and Elizabeth Jean (Sternnadle) Lafosse. He was a graduate of Lanier High School in Austin, Texas, Class of 1971.
While he began his career in the Automotive industry, George was employed with Acuity Brands lighting for over 20 years before moving onto his second career, at Mitchell Time and parking helping his sister and brother-in-law. He will be forever remembered for his truly unique personality. It would be no exaggeration to say that he was the craziest person many have ever known. Throughout his life he was passionate about cars, helping others, casino trips with his son, and working hard. And almost most importantly, being on time (early) everywhere!
He is survived by his son, Elvis Lafosse, sister, Jean Hobbs, and brother, Russell Lafosse as well as may extended family members and close friends.
