Geraldine Frances "Aunt-Sis" Boydston

Geraldine was born in Hutto, TX on August 8, 1927 to Milton A. Barnes and Bess Gene Barnes. She graduated from Hutto High School and married her high school sweetheart and husband of 25 years, Auby Oran Boydston on March 13, 1945 after his discharge from the U.S. Marine Corp. Sadly in 1970, he passed away at the age of 45.

Geraldine continued making her career working for many years for the Greater Texas Federal Credit Union until she retired after 27 years of service (1957-1984). She was actively involved in the Memorial United Methodist Church and lived her life devoted to her family including her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her 2 children; Glenn (Kathy) Boydston and Pam Freitag. Her grandchildren; Lisa (Roger) Ley, Brett (Adrianne) Boydston, Farrah Freitag, and Derek (Chalise) Freitag. Her great grandchildren; Shea Prihoda, Bailey Prihoda, Austin Ley, Camren Ley, Lindsay Kirwin, Boone Freitag and Adeli Freitag. One brother; Bubba (Geneva) Barnes and a half brother; George (Janet) Barnes. Her sister-in-law; Helen Barnes along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband and her brother Eugene Barnes.

The funeral service will be held at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. A reception will take place immediately following the burial service.
