He was born on May 22, 1919 in Waco, Texas to Albert Bonnie Cloud, Sr. and Blanche Myrtle Blanton Cloud.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Vera Byrle Conditt Cloud, an infant son, Glenn Edward Cloud, Jr., his parents, three brothers, Albert Bonnie Cloud, Jr., James Walton Cloud and John H. Cloud and his grandson Joshua Edward Cloud.
He is survived by his daughter Mary E. Eakes and husband Hughey Joe Eakes of New Braunfels, Texas and his son Nelson L. Cloud and wife Diane of Norman, Oklahoma. Also survived by sisters, Wilda Bagby and Wanda Ashley of Waco and brother, Leon B. Cloud and wife Laura Cloud of Austin, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
Glenn served in the Naval Services in GuadaCanal for 27 months during World War II. He also served in the US Air Force in Texas, North Africa and England retiring in 1965 as a Chief Master Sgt. He also retired from Civil Service in 1979. He was a fifty year member of the Masonic Lodge, Parsons 222, Austin, Texas.
Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home followed by graveside services at 1:00 p.m. in the Masonic Gardens of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery, Pflugerville, Texas.
