A man who truly embraced life, Greg was known for his fun-loving spirit, boundless energy, and genuine warmth. It really did not matter what he was doing, he brought enthusiasm and joy to every moment.
Greg had a deep love for his family and friends, always making time for those who mattered most. He cherished each member of his family and each of his many friends. Greg’s presence will be deeply missed.
Though he made his home in Pflugerville, he and his family also spent meaningful years in Columbus, Ohio, and always held a special place in his heart for Athens, Georgia.
Professionally, Greg found great fulfillment in his work as an Anesthetist. He took pride in caring for others and formed lasting relationships along the way, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues and friends alike.
He is survived by family members who loved him dearly- his wife, Pam; his beloved son, Matthew and daughter-in-law, Andrea; his cherished grandsons, Adrian and Maxton; his devoted mother, Angie; and his loving sister, Alicia.
Greg was preceded in death by his father and role model, Gene.
Greg will be remembered for his kindness, his laughter, and the way he made others feel valued and loved. His spirit will live on in the many lives he touched.
The family is profoundly grateful to the healthcare teams at St. David’s South Austin Medical Center, Texas Oncology, and Texas Transplant Team for the extraordinary care, compassion, and dignity they showed Greg.
In honor of Greg's life, the family encourages others to support their local Medical Center by service or donation; consider donating blood; and, most importantly, to make a point to live each day of life intentionally... filled with moments that bring joy.
A gathering of friends to celebrate Greg’s life will be held in Pflugerville —Friday afternoon, May 8, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at West Pecan Coffee Shop.
A second celebration of life with family and friends will be held in Athens, Georgia, at a later date.
