Gwendolyn Sheri Jones

Sheri had an incredible love for the Lord, her family, and her many friends. She loved a great pair of shoes, trips to the beach, and making memories with the ones she loved. Sheri had a passionate, giving heart. She also devoted many years to helping her church family and volunteered countless hours.

Sheri is preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Ada Jones; her maternal grandmother, Blanche Hastings; and her granddaughter, Makenna Reyes.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her parents, Ollie and Tommye Jones; her children, Robert and wife Jodie, Michelle and husband Frank, and Jen and husband Cody; and her brothers, Terry, Tim, Rick, and Kenny Jones. Sheri is also survived by her eight grandchildren, whom she loved with all of her heart, Meagan, Cameron, Chelsea, Riley, Jarrett, Alannah, Emma and Paisley.

Sheri will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends.

A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at St. John’s United Methodist Church, 2140 Allandale Road, Austin, 78756.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Sheri’s memory to St. John’s United Methodist Church.
