Hayden Abler, 27, of Austin, Texas was received into the loving hands of his Redeemer and Savior Jesus Christ on August 12, 2024. Just as this same Savior created the Universe, with some things revealed for our understanding, and still many things mysterious, so too was the life and death of Hayden, His miraculous and mysterious creation.
If you knew Hayden, you would understand that words cannot capture the incredibly unique and nuanced mixture of uncommon attributes baked into his essence. This blend of logic and theology, kindness with uninhibited but comfortably unusual social engagement, coupled with completely open and honest loving non-confrontational confrontation, led him along a path none of the rest of us would choose, let alone conceive. His immunity to peer pressure or social fear and his uncanny patience and compassion equipped him for his truly unique journey through life, which he filled to the maximum amount.
At this time, science and investigation have not been able to assign or understand an immediate cause of Hayden’s death.
Hayden was predeceased by his grandma Doris (Jensen) Abler of Rome, WI and his granddad Charles Scott of Oak Ridge, TN. He is survived by his mother Lisa (Scott) Abler and father Jeffrey Abler of Georgetown, KY, his brother Jensen Abler of Santa Monica, CA, his sister Alicen Abler of North Hollywood, CA, his grandmom Alice (Bardill) Scott of Oak Ridge, TN, and grandpa Norman Abler of Rome, WI.
Visitation will be on Friday August 23 at 7 PM at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Austin, TX. The funeral service will be the following day, Saturday August 24 at 2 PM also at St. Paul. At a later time, Hayden will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Memorial Park in Oak Ridge, TN alongside his granddad and uncle Kendall Scott.
