Helen Lagow

Helen Lagow, age 67, of Pflugerville, Texas passed away June 22, 2021. She was born December 18, 1953 in Austin, Texas to Atwell and Barbara (Reisert) Lagow. Helen graduated from Westlake High School in Austin, Texas. She served in the United States Air Force as a Tactical Aircraft Maintenance Technician from 1975 to 1987. She then had a career with the State of Texas Department of Health from 1988 to 2008.

Helen was a member of Shoreline Church in Pflugerville, Texas. She had a passion for listening to Christian music, helping others, making arts and crafts, traveling, being outdoors, watching reality survival shows, going to movie theaters, eating Texas BBQ and speaking her mind.

Helen is survived by her brother, Clark Lagow and his wife, Sandy Newman; sister, Janice Wittwer and her husband, Bill Wittwer; daughter, Michelle Brown and her husband, Robert Brown; daughter, Sharon McCandlis and her husband, Ty McCandlis; son, James Scott Jr and his wife, Krystalynn Scott; grandchildren, Grace, Anamika and Amara Brown, Cameron and Chloe McCandlis and Isaiah Scott; and long-time friend, Rosemary Speaker.

Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at the Mausoleum Chapel at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660.
