Helen Marie Robinson

Helen was born May 6, 1947, to Erwin and Henrietta Hodde of Austin, TX. Our Father called her home on June 15, 2023, from her home in North Austin.

Helen Hodde took the last name of Robinson when she married Wallace (Wally) Robinson on January 13, 1968, then moved to join him on U.S. Army deployment in Germany. Eventually, the couple moved back home to Austin where together they would live out their lives.

Helen grew up attending St. Martin’s Lutheran Church where she was baptized on August 24, 1947, confirmed on May 21, 1961, and married on January 13, 1968, in a bridal gown she herself sewed.

In 1975, Helen and Wally made the choice to adopt their sweet baby girl, Stephanie Alana. From then on out, Helen devoted herself to caring for that little angel.

Helen is survived by daughter, Stephanie; aunt: Gertrude Hodde (age 99); sister-in-laws: Mary Hodde Richter (David), Betty Robinson; brother-in-law: Michael Robinson (Peggy); nieces: Kim (Alan), Cheryl (Rob), Julie (Grant), Jill (Byran), Jenny (Damon) and Judy; nephews: Chris (Tammy) and Danny (Wendy); great nieces & nephews: Brittany, Brendan, Hannah, Hayden, Taylor, Ashton, Jaedyn, Mallory, Benjamin, Garrett, Hailey, Reese, Faith, Bo, Jackie, Luke, Jenna, Lily; special friend: Rita Hill.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Robinson; parents, Erwin and Henrietta Hodde; in-laws, Rayford and Pauline Robinson; brother, Charles Hodde; brother-in-law, Hugh Robinson, and nephew, Robby Robinson.
