Saturday, July 23, 2016 our sweet Papaw, Henry Alexander Grice, went to Heaven. He lived to be almost 91. In his many years on earth, he changed and shaped so many lives for the better as a U.S. Marine, engineer, and preacher.
He passed away in peace surrounded by loved ones, leaving behind his wife, Joan, whom he was madly in love with for over 65 years. He also leaves behind three children: Sherry Chastain, Corine Grice, and Henry Alexander Grice, Jr. (Alex); 7 grandchildren: Jennifer Neal, David Chastain, Brian Chastain, Monica Grice, Joy Grice, Rachel Grice, and Luke Grice; 4 great grandchildren: Faith San Miguel, Jazmyne Chastain, Hope Neal and Wade Neal; one great-great grandchild: Jaxon Gority; two sisters: Lena Compton and Ruth Branch; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws; and countless friends.
He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
