January 2, 1992 – August 10, 2019
Hope Araujo, 27, of Pflugerville, Tx, started her heavenly journey on the morning of Saturday, August 10th, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was born at Brook Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston, Tx on January 2nd, 1992. She graduated from Horizon High School in May of 2010. Hope enjoyed volunteering at several places including her church, St. Elizabeth’s of Hungary. As a member of St. Elizabeth’s, she enjoyed teaching religious education, working booths at Fiesta and supporting multiple organizations. Hope had a passion for music, Hallmark movies and her family. At any given time of the year Hope could be found in her room listening to music or watching Hallmark movies. Especially if it were Christmas in July!! Hope was determined to watch every Hallmark movie there ever was, in fact she had the calendar on her phone.
Hope was survived by Maggie Araujo, mother, Benito Araujo, Father, Megan & Bekah Araujo, sisters. Hope led a life of joy and strength regardless of struggles she was faced with. Hope taught so many of us how to face problems and just get through it. When one would ask Hope “How do you do it?” her reply would be “I just do.” And that is how we are going to grow from this massive loss in our life. With the strength and grace that Hope has graciously gifted us.
The Araujo family has been so consumed by love and support by our family and friends; the community we have surrounded ourselves with has quickly grown into extended family and we are so grateful. We want to express our love and gratitude for all the food, rooms, air mattresses, blankets, hugs, kisses and comforting words our entire community has given to us. We are truly blessed and we will continue to be blessed with our new guardian angel.
Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m., Friday, August 16th, 2019 and a Memorial Mass at 12:00 p.m. noon, Saturday, August 17th, 2019 with a Celebration of Life Luncheon to follow right after at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, 1520 North Railroad Avenue, Pflugerville, Tx 78660.

We loved Hope's joy for everything; whether small or large, she found the goodness and wonder in all things. She shared her energy and enthusiasm and positive outlook with everyone. Her life is an example of appreciating all of Gods blessings. Much love for her, Maggie, Bennie, Megan and Bekah. - Nancy Young
