Isam was strong willed, loving and stubborn at times, but he also had an enormous heart and a great sense of humor. He was a great provider, generous, and opened his home to all when help was needed.
He was a sought-after mechanic, and he could fix any vehicle anywhere anytime.
He leaves behind his wife Aida Zawaideh of 50 years, two sons Mike and Faris Zawaideh and five grandchildren. He also leaves behind 2 brothers Adel and Azmi and 3 sisters Maysoun, Fadia and Margo Zawaideh. He was preceded in death by parents Massoud and Wedad Zawaideh, and his brother Aouni Zawaideh.
A funeral service for Issam will be held Thursday, September 21, 2023 at 2:00 p.m., at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 12041 Bittern Hollow, Austin, Texas 78758, with a burial to follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660.
