Jaime Navarro, a loving son, husband, father, uncle and friend, was born on November 10, 1971 in Austin, Texas to Marcos Trejo Sr. and Celia Navarro. He passed away on November 9, 2025 surrounded by his family, one day before his 54th birthday.
He is preceded in death by his grandchildren Adam James Nunez Jr. and Giselle Maximina Nunez; his beloved aunt Cruz Navarro; and his brother Marcos Trejo Jr.
Jaime had a lifelong passion for music. He formed his own band Austin Groove and later spent several years as the lead singer for the CLV Band. He loved performing, singing and playing the accordion and he poured his heart into every stage he stepped on.
He was a dedicated fan of the Dallas Cowboys, the Texas Longhorns and the Houston Astros. He also enjoyed bowling and playing golf. Jaime spent many years working as a parts manager with Volvo Cars and Audi South Austin where he took great pride in his work and the relationships he built.
Jaime is survived by his wife of 27 years Lori Coronado Navarro; his mother Celia Navarro; his father Marcos Trejo Sr. (Olga); his daughters Nerissa Navarro (Evan O’Connor), and Christabell Nunez (Adam); his sisters Sylvia Helfort (Jason), and Patricia Ramirez; his brothers Gilbert Trejo (Mindo), Michael Trejo (Veronica) and Julian Trejo; his nephews Armando Torres and Diego Torres; his stepfather Enrique Ramirez; his emotional support kittens Brisquette, Licorice and Spookie; and his two beloved cats Simba and Mitchell. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends who loved him deeply.
Serving as pallbearers will be Armando Torres, Diego Torres, Adam Nunez, Robert Gonzales Sr., Robert Gonzales Jr. and Ryan Gonzales.
Honorary pallbearers are Evan O’Connor, Michael Coronado Sr., Michael Coronado Jr. and Jeremy Coronado.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00pm on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home & Cemetery, 14501 N Interstate Hwy 35, Pflugerville, TX 78660, being officiated by Pastor Melvin S. Manor, Sr. who united Lori and Jaime in marriage with visitation beginning at 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
In keeping with the family’s wishes, a private burial for family will take place.
