I will miss seeing Jimmy at the Hamrick Family Reunion in San Saba. He was very sweet and always made sure he spoke to to my family and me . Thank you Eleanor and Ronnie for making sure he got to the Reunion. You could see the joy on his face when he came through the doors. God Bless You all.

My best memories of Jimmy are his laugh and how he could make me laugh. We shared our birthday so celebrated together in Elgin as I grew up. I missed those days and that laugh as I grew older but know that Jimmy, Bunt and Dad are laughing together now.

Jimmy was a very dear friend. We grew up in the same town, and our parents were friends. We attended the same schools and graduated in 1955. I married and moved to Nebraska in 1956; therefore we only saw each other at class reunions. Eleanor, you are such a dear friendly person. I didn't have the pleasure of meeting your children. I want you to know that your husband and father was a very special guy. God Bless,
Barbara (Crockett) Pensick, Columbus, NE

Our deepest sympathy to Eleanor and the Hamrick family. My parents loved your "next-door-neighbor" family as their own.

Our thoughts are with all of the Hamrick family at this time of loss.
Your family pictures tell it all.
When I think of Jimmy I always remember the following: our neighbor Bob Ratclif (deceased) attended high school with Jimmy in San Saba. Bob would talk about how Jimmy was his hero and a good football player; and he would just follow Jimmy around the school grounds (Jimmy being the oldest). I bet they are now playing ball together!
God Bless; John & Betty Carter
