

Our beloved James Ray, age 82 of Austin passed away on Sunday October 23, 2011. Born in Middleton, Tennessee on October 23, 1929. Mr. Ray served his country honorably and proudly with the U.S. Air Force for 20 years and retired as a Tech Sgt. After retirement from the Air Force he opened Ray’s Electronics, a T.V. repair shop and enjoyed tinkering with electronics.
Preceded in death by his parents James and Elsie Ray and a Brother, Roy Ray.
Survived by his Loving Wife; Dolores Ray, 3 Daughters; Beverly Ray, Caroline Chapman and husband Russell, Mary Davidson and husband Bear, one Son; James Ray, Jr., 3 Sisters; Edith Jacobs, Catherine Shannon, Anna Mae Henderson, 7 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren.
Rosary Service on Friday, October 28, 2011 at 6:00pm with Visitation to 8:00pm at the Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home. Funeral Services on Saturday at 2:30pm in the Chapel of Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 N. IH-35, Pflugerville, Texas, with Reverend Monsignor Don J. Sawyer officiating. Interment with Full Military Honors will follow in Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery.
