OBITUARY
James Milton Stox
August 12, 1961 – February 9, 2021
James Milton Stox of Dale, Texas passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at the age of 59. James had a passion for building and restoring old cars. He was a heavy equipment operator with Caldwell County Road Unit, who he considered as his extended family. James was a very talented man and could do amazing things to cars he built or restored. He was truly loved and will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, February 22, 2021 at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Blvd, Austin, Texas 78752. Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 23, 2021 in The Colonel Chapel of Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Blvd, Austin, Texas 78752. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Memorial Hill Cemetery located at the intersection of North Interstate 35 and Howard Lane in Pflugerville.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie and Patricia Stox and his sister, Francias Claire Stox. He is survived by his children, James Milton Stox, Jr. and Caitlyn Stox (Bricyn); wife, Kimberly Reveile; and brother, John Stox.

It's really not a memory, but kind of just a note. James Milton Stox was my mother's boyfriend's father (lots of words, I know), and although he and I weren't related by blood, we were still very close, and I still consider him my grandfather. So, thank you, Papa James, for treating me like one of your own. I love you and miss you dearly.

Many great memories since meeting at church in 1977. So blessed he was a part of my life and my husband James. Hot rods, monster trucks, antique cars and drag car restoration will never be the same.
