Janie graduated from Wachonah Regional High School. She was happily married to Benjamin Calvo on July 17, 1978 for 43 years. She was a hairstylist for over 20 years and owned her own in-home daycare center.
She was involved with Christian Experience Weekend (CEW) at St. Helens Catholic Church in Georgetown, Texas. She loved cooking for her favorite priests and cooking for her local churches. Her hobbies included teaching her grandkids to bake and sew. Her last 5 years were spent quilting for herself and others.
Janie was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother.
Janie is survived by her daughter Terri Thrush and husband David; her son Michael Adams; her daughter Christine Gamache and husband Barry. Her siblings Tommy LeVardi, Rene Kelly, Arlene Langendorfer, Jimmy LeVardi, Jerry LeVardi (Twin Brother), Bobby LeVardi, Joan Sanchez and Greg LeVardi. Her grandchildren Ashley Thrush and fiancé Andrew, Courtney Kallfelz and husband Justin and great grandchild to be Brooks Joshua Kallfelz. Jon Adams and great grandchild Jonny Kia. Chris Adams, Samantha Gamache, and Sydney Gamache. Three stepchildren and several step grandchildren.
She preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Minnie Winchell LeVardi; siblings Dolores St. Germain, Anne Ostaski, Louise Barnes and George LeVardi.
Visitation for Janie’s family and friends will be Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas. A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 13, 2022 at St. Williams Catholic Church (620 Round Rock W. Dr. Round Rock, Texas 78681). Reception to follow the service.
