Jeffery Todd Jones

Jeffery was born on January 9, 1965 to Leslie and Margaret Jones. Jeffery married his best friend, Melissa Jones, in 1994 and the couple had three beautiful children. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Hospital Administration. After working in the health field for over 17 years, Jeffery found his professional family when he joined the LifeNet Health team in 2011 where he truly believed in the mission: Saving lives. Restoring health. Giving hope.

Jeffery considered his children and family as his greatest accomplishment. Through his great sense of humor and quick wit, at any moment, Jeffery was sure to make you laugh. His amazing smile would light up a room and make everyone feel warm and comfortable. Jeffery was an early riser who would always claim, “I have done more by 8:00 a.m. than you will do all day!” Not only could he never sit idle, Jeffery could not leave a task undone. He was an enthusiastic learner who constantly read for knowledge. He was a giver and a teacher to his children, family and friends. You never left a conversation with Jeffery without learning something.

Jeffery is survived by his wife, Melissa; their children, Vanessa, Killen, and Olivia; his parents, Leslie and Margaret Jones of Austin, TX; his three sisters, Phyllis Owens of Austin, TX, Stephanie Reed of Austin, TX, and Pam Jones (Daisy Hernandez) of Dallas, TX; his two brothers, Leslie (Christine) of Austin, TX, and Keith DeShawn Jones of Pflugerville, TX. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, and many loyal and caring relatives and friends. Jeffery is preceded in death by his sisters, Donna Jones and Tammy Jones.

The family will greet guests at a visitation to be held on Friday, March 6, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas. Services to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 3:30 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks. Committal services will follow in Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
