Jeff was a free spirit. Our Lord called Jeff to his heavenly home on October 22, 2013 in Sacramento, California in a tragic accident. Jeff loved life and treasured his family with all of his heart. Jeff didn’t have the easiest life on earth, but he always had an open heart and a willingness to keep going. He had a large family who loved and supported him for who he truly was.
Treasuring his memory are his son Terry Allen Ritz of North Carolina; his father Tony William Short; eldest brother Terry and wife Laura of Concord, North Carolina; sister Krystal Cervantes-Stagner of Temple, Texas; brothers Brett Sparkman, Zach and Josh Short of North Carolina. Jeffery also leaves behind nieces and nephews Tanner and Ashlyn Short and Chris Cervantes. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service to honor the life of Jeffery Allen Ritz Jr. will be held in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 1:00 pm.
