Jeffrey Lee Shenkenberg

Jeffrey “Jeff” Lee Shenkenberg, age 71, of Hutto, Texas, passed away on September 14, 2024. Born on October 1, 1952 in Oceanside, New York, Jeff was a beloved brother, uncle and friend known for his caring, generosity, vast knowledge, and love of sports.

Jeff attended Johns Hopkins, where he was a member of the Delta Upsilon Fraternity. He received his MBA from the Ohio University. His degrees and sociability led him to a successful career as a regional sales representative for Westvaco and Graphic Packaging.

Jeff was an avid sports fan. He particularly loved golf, soccer, baseball, basketball and football. He was a die hard supporter of the Yankees and the New York Giants.

Jeff, an Eagle Scout, moved to Texas upon his retirement to be closer to his family. The precious memories of family gatherings, holidays, outings and trivia tournament victories will be cherished for all time.

He is survived by his brother, Dr. Todd Shenkenberg and wife Jan of Harlingen, Texas; sister, Dana Dorwart and husband Jim of Hutto, Texas; nephews, David Shenkenberg of Farmington Hills, Michigan, Richard Shenkenberg and wife Kathryn of McKinney, Texas, Kyle Dorwart of Round Rock, Texas and Bryce Dorwart and wife Marla of Bryan, Texas. His two great- nephews, Brayden and Noah Dorwart and four great-nieces, Rebecca and Lucy Shenkenberg and Everly and Skylar Dorwart brought Jeff endless joy.
