Jeff was known for his natural ability to connect with people. Whether it was closing a deal or helping a stranger, he loved to put a smile on your face or even better make you laugh. He always rooted for the underdog and knew just what to say to motivate and encourage. He would regularly say, “Even on your worst day, you still look good.” This talent made him an excellent salesman, which he did with much success for many years.
He was a creative and passionate chef that could make a masterpiece out of anything you had on hand. He also loved martial arts and Bruce Lee movies. A favorite family activity was watching movies together with pickles instead of popcorn. Most of all, Jeff was deeply passionate about his family. One of his favorite sayings was, “You’re a Smith; you come from good stock.”
Survived by his parents, Glen and Marilyn Smith; his siblings, David, Brian (spouse Helen), Bubba (spouse Bobi), and Elizabeth (spouse John); his daughters, Jennifer (spouse Alex), Amanda (spouse Scott), Heather (spouse Juan); his grandchildren, Dylan and Hannah; and many nieces and nephews.
