Jerry Gayle Vickers, was a loving husband, father, brother and friend. He was born November 7,1933 in Luling, Texas to Arthur Lee and Lorene McKnight Vickers and passed away on November 3,2024 at the age of 90 years old.
He was a great man of faith and was a longtime member at Hyde Park Baptist Church. He led worship at Baptist churches in Farmersville Tx, Durant Ok, and several churches in the Austin area for 55 years until he retired.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents A L and Lorene Vickers; sister Peggy Floyd; and brother Hylon Vickers.
He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Rosemary Menn Vickers, they had just celebrated on October 25, 2024; their son, Mitchell Vickers along with numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Cook Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home at 11:00am with visitation beginning at 10:00am. Burial will follow at Capital Parks Cemetery.
