Jesse V. Demings

He grew up in Plano with his 3 older siblings John, Kim, and Philip, enjoying football, soccer, and baseball. He was a great pitcher, and loved that his dad was his team coach. He graduated from Garland Christian Academy in 1988, going to Texas Tech and then entering into the US Navy, where he trained to become a nuclear reactor operator. He met the love of his life Rhonda Dill in December of 1990, and proposed and married the following year. He and Rhonda gave birth to their son Andre in 1992, and their daughter Tessa in 1997. After being discharged from the Navy, he immediately went to work for Samsung in Austin in February of 1997, where he worked there for 27 years until his passing.

He loved gaming with his best friend Dave, and his family game nights with his wife Rhonda, his son Andre, his daughter Tessa, his daughter-in-law Ashley, his son-in-law Jeff, and granddaughters Alice and Anya.

A man of God, an immensely dedicated father, and a pillar of support, he was cherished and will be missed.

A celebration of Jesse's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas.
