She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold A. Goodling.
Joann is survived by her children, Mary Kathyrn Goodling, John Arthur Goodling and Patricia Ann Goodling; and her grandchildren, Cristel Marie Goodling, Samantha Lee Goodling, Travis John Goodling and Heather May Goodling.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, and an avid gardener and nature enthusiast.
Joann served in the Air Force as an air traffic control plotter, where she met and married her husband Harold. Joann went on to become a housewife and mother until her children were in school, then she worked in the childcare field and then as a restaurant food prep.
She was a member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church for many years, then followed her own path to become a Jehovah Witness.
A graveside service with military honors for Joann will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas.
