John Nicolas Rewjuk, 85 of Jarrell passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2015. He was born May 14, 1929 in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine. John enjoyed his 24 years in the US Air Force. He met Billie Jo Pleasant with whom he enjoyed church activities and activities on base.
John will be greatly missed by his family left to cherish his memories including his wife of 60 years, Billie “Jo” Rewjuk; daughter Kathryn McLain and husband Allen; son-in-law Arnold Auzenne, grandchildren Viktor Auzenne, Brent McLain, Jana McLain, Kevin McLain and Phillip McLain and one great grandchild on the way in May.
He is preceded in death by his mother, his step father, daughter Karen Auzenne and his brother Stanley Rewjuk.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home with the funeral service to begin at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
