John S. Zamarripa, 89, was welcomed into the waiting arms of his Lord and Savior Saturday evening, November 10, 2012. Mr. Zamarripa was born May 6, 1923 to Toribia and Adrian Zamarripa in Round Rock, Tx.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years Lilia G. Zamarripa, daughter Mary Esther Perez and husband Juan Perez, four sons John Zamarripa Jr., Rudy Zamarripa and wife Marie, Edward Zamarripa and wife Susan, son, Adrian Zamarripa, daughter-in-law Luz Zamarripa, three brothers, one sister, nine grandchildren and scores of loving nieces and nephews. John was a lifelong member of St. William’s Catholic Church. His warmth and kindness and giving nature will truly be missed.
He will be deeply remembered for his love of family and friends. He loved to laugh, had a wonderful sense of humor, and enjoyed good food with his family. He was an avid sports fan, loved his Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys. He will be missed by so many and always remembered.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, two sisters, and his son Roberto G. Zamarripa.
