Judith Ann Sims passed away on March 12, 2018 in Ellis, Texas. She lived in Austin, Texas for 30 years before transferring to Ennis with AT&T. She was born in El Paso, Texas on October 12, 1949, raised in El Paso, Brooklyn, New York, Detroit, Michigan, and Lampasas, Texas.
After 35 years with AT&T, Judith was promoted from operator to operational supervisor. She had twenty years of perfect attendance working for the telephone companies and was awarded several times for saving lives by helping the public with emergencies.
Judith Ann Sims is preceded in death by her mother, Gladys May Sims (1915 - 2011) and her son, Jason Andrew Sims (1974 - 2012). She is survived by her sisters: Barbara Jean Searcy, Holly Kay Routt, and Cheryl Jo McLaughlin Nee Sims.
The graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Cook-Walden/Memorial Hill Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas. Flowers will be donated to St. David's after the service.
