Julia (Sheila) Bridget Braunschweig (née Dennehy), aged 89, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2024, in Round Rock, Texas. She was born on October 5, 1934, in Buffalo, New York to John and Bridget (nee Scully) Dennehy.
Shelia’s passions in life included family, golfing, tennis, gardening and the occasional trip to the casino. Shelia’s laughter was contagious – often poking fun at herself for others’ enjoyment. She had a giving heart, providing for those in need.
Sheila was preceded in death by her husband, George Braunschweig; her parents; her sisters, Mary Dennehy Taber and Margaret Dennehy; and her brother, Dennis Dennehy. She is survived by her four children (Mark, John, Julie and Matt) and her sister, Kathleen Dennehy; along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Sheila will be laid to rest on August 2, 2024 during a private graveside service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Alzheimer's Association.
Sheila will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
