Julia Cristina Gonzalez passed to eternal life on Sept 4, 2024, at the age of 55 after a brave battle with cancer. Julia was born to Abraham Hector and Maria Luisa Flores on June 30, 1969, in Sandusky, Michigan. Julia grew up in Crystal City, Texas and moved to Austin, Texas after graduating high school and made Hutto, Texas her home.
Julia is survived by her husband of 17 years, Sevillano Gonzales, parents Hector and Maria Flores, sisters Veronica (Abel) Flores, Ingrid (Mustapha) Fardjallah, brother Hector (Amparo) Flores, niece Jasmine Fardjallah, nephews Hector (Jazmine) Flores Jr, Andrew Flores, Diego Flores, Idris Fardjallah, and grandniece Rosaline Flores as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Julia had a heart of gold and saw the best in anyone she met. She was kind, funny, and mischievous and loved without any regrets. She had a spirit that brought the best in others. Julia enjoyed jewelry making, traveling, and spending time with her family and her beloved dog, Lola.
Pallbearers will be Abel Gomez Flores, Mustapha Fardjallah, Hector Flores Jr, Andrew Flores, Diego Flores, and Idris Fardjallah.
A visitation for Julia will be held Tuesday, September 17, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, with the funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. Following the service, Julia will be laid to rest at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
