Juliet Burnette

Julie was born in Washington to Dianna and Gene Williams, an officer in the U.S. Army. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Dallas and enjoyed a successful career contributing her talents at a variety of organizations, including the Texas Lottery, the American Cancer Society and Dell Computer (WWTS).

Julie’s contagious smile and vibrant energy filled so many lives and engaged everyone around her. She brightened the world with her trademark sense of humor and sharp wit. With her family, she was heavily involved with parenting, school, extracurricular activities, and vacationing. With her friends, she enjoyed scrapbooking, physical fitness (Camp Gladiator), and fashion. Wherever Julie was, you could always find laughter, love, and friendship.

Throughout her life, including the duration of her illness, she focused intently on the well-being of others. She cared with great passion for her loved ones and whole-heartedly supported them in all of their endeavours. While in treatment at Texas Oncology, you would find Julie providing conversation and comfort to everyone around her especially those new to the cancer journey, or someone who was struggling with their treatment. She had a friendly ease about her that always brought peace to others.

Julie will forever be remembered by her devoted husband, Cliff, and loving daughter, Caitlin; her mother, Dianna Williams; her brother and sister-in-law Chris and Ayako Williams; and her sister and brother-in-law Jen and Micah Barwick. She will also be remembered by countless friends and family who were blessed to have known her.

Friends and family are invited to a casual memorial gathering on Wednesday, August 31 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks in Pflugerville, Texas, anytime between the hours of 7:00 and 9:00PM.
