Kevin Hill Beard passed away on April 19, 2025, from complications related to lung cancer. She is survived by her husband James Beard Jr., daughter Shelby Oakley (Robert Oakley), and son Travis Duran (Amanda Rose). She is also survived by her sister Kelley Aguirrie, brother Larry Hill II, and several nephews and a niece.
Kevin was preceded in death by her parents, Larry Hill, MD and Karen Hill. She was also preceded by her sisters Kristen Hill, Karla Hill, and Kimberly Savage, as well as her brother-in-law Tim Savage.
Kevin was raised primarily in Austin, Texas. Her childhood was filled with a deep love for Arabian horses—riding, caring for, and showing them—a passion she carried into adulthood.
Kevin will be remembered for her fierce loyalty, immense love, and kindness toward those closest to her. She was resilient, intelligent, and possessed a sharp, unforgettable sense of humor.
She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
Kevin will be laid to rest in Cook-Walden/ Capital Parks Cemetery, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660; Section: Water's Edge Estates Ph. 1, Lot: 1002, Grave: 2.
