I remember when my daughter Deann and Lacey stole Matts truck and went for a joy ride, they were 12 maybe 13. They were so lucky they or anyone didn't get hurt. Matt was so upset as was I. Over the years it's one we can look back on and laugh over. Lacey was always happy and full of inspiration !! I loved her! My heart goes out to you Matt and you are in my prayers. <3
 

Lacey and Chris were both 3 years old when we moved in next door. I will never forget the both of them with their blond heads driving down the sidewalk in her little car. I would run into her every once in a while through the years. I always loved seeing her.
My deepest condolences to Matt and her Colorado family, her children, and her family in Texas. Lacey was truly one of a kind.

I have had the privilege of being both Kaia and Kaiden's 2nd grade and 4th grade teacher so I have known Lacey for the past four years.  Kaia is a sweetheart and Kaiden's smile and infectious laugh light up a room.  Both of them loved their mother very much and enjoyed telling stories about spending time with their family often.  Lacey was definitely the mom who would do anything for her kids.  I am deeply heartbroken to hear of the loss of Lacey, and will continue to keep her family in my prayers for the days, weeks, and months ahead.

As Kaia's first 4th Grade teacher, Lacey would email me about how happy Kaia was in her academics.
Her last email to me was on October 6th stating that Kaia was happy that I was presenting our Back to School Zoom meeting. I let Lacey know that it had made my day giving me a grin from ear to ear.
Thank you Lacey, rest in peace.
